Very good.

We have been invited to a Party, so my house has been saved, he is currently dressing up, and your pumpkins put mine to shame.

I down load when the excitment drops a bit.

Reminds me, I need to get my roll of "Police - do not cross" tape and stick across the driveway entrance, to stop the scallies trick or treating us.

" Bless him he looks fab! "

Cheers.

The groups of children were walked around the estate in 3 groups, and everybody who opened the doors gave sweets. This went from about 1800hrs and on for a hour.

The party had 20 odd 4-7 year old kids in a house, all on a swizzels/palma violet sugar rush....it has put years on me.

All the parents then stopped to watch the X Factor which was even worse.

He didnt come down off his sugar rush until 2100hrs, and he has still got a sack full of sweets, I may need to lose most of them for him.

Not many Bah Humbugs down this neck of he woods.......

...........all looked happy to see the kids all dressed up.

doesn't really matter if it is was an american festival, or that we are starting to celebrate like the americans do, it makes the kids happy, (or at least the little kids that go trick or treating with their parents). teenagers throwing eggs and flower have always been there, i was probably one of the little ***** when i was that age.

My lady and I prepared our house, did pumkins, got sweets ready, put a ton of ghoolish things outside, but we didnt get 1 trick or treater ! :-( Was very disappointed.

I think its based on where we live, we are the youngest parents on my private estate, and the average owner is around 55/60, where as my partner and I are mid 30's.

Thanks for that-interesting read.

Not sure whether its a sensible thing to teach young children that it is ok to demand a treat with the threat of revenge if one is not forthcoming though.
