Asked about returning a satnav back this morning the atitude on the woman because the 1 year guarentee runs out tomorow was unbeleveable told me to come back with the satnav the lead and the bracket (fair enough) so i take them in tonight and get 2 right goons giving me the third degree "we have been on the internet and we need the cd the booklet and the box" i normaly would throw this stuf in the bin when i get home but it was stuck in a cubard from last year so i went back and they still give me crap about returning it when i had lost my temper and said im sick of all this **** just give me another satnav they said "well we have to be carefull who we give our satnavs to" WTF i honestly felt like when they give me the new one opening the box up and bouncing it of the wall then stamping all over it and saying "yeah thanks"
They made me feel like a criminal or **** for no reson at all, i am in there every week with work and am always polite to them and others
funny thing is i returned 2 falty boiler stats £50 each with not a problem but god forbid a £75 satnav

I'm sure this type of outlet get plenty of 'chancers' wanting a refund/new kit a day or two short of the guarantee period. Not too surprising that they ask for the goods to be returned 'as purchased' is it?
OP's spellin iz dridfull on this occasion, IMHO etc., etc.

At least it all worked out in the end.
Stores do have to be careful, as alot of dodgy refund attempts go on, but the way they dealt with you seems harsh. I would say, don't write them off completely as service often varies store to store, or even person to person (speaking generally).
