i havent been out of europe before.

we are also going to try and get into new orleans as well.

With only one night its a tough one but i'd probably just get yourself a map and go explore. We did this on our first night in NY

Don't know what Bada Bing is, but do something you can't do anywhere else. Empire State, Grand central Station, Statue of Liberty. Ground Zero, Times Square etc etc.

And don't sleep, make a night of it.

2003, Did Empire State (Prepare for LOOOOOONNNG queues and time to get there), Penn Station, "Ground Zero", all in 3 feet of snow. Did the sex and toy museums...sex museum was pretty boring really. Fell *** over tit in 4 feet of snow just before going into Maceys on 5th Ave, and getting odd looks. Here is a big man, in woolen clothes, polite, well spoken English voice, covered in snow, asking for the perfume section. I tell you, it was a sight!

what day of the week is it. if form thursday onwards got to the meat packing district have a few beers then head to 1 oak . You will have to have a table booked to get into 1 oak though but for a one off night out you can see how new yorks rich and celebrity types party. for the day time do the usual stuff list here already.

There is just so much to see and do. For one night I think I'd try to find a few really good lounge bars and have a few cocktails, nice meal somewhere, Times Square with the night time illumimations, just try and get in amongst it all and soak up the atmosphere. Walk around Central Park the next day to clear the head if you've got the time....
