It's the oldest course in the area (1920s), but has been redesigned in the last ten years or so to improve some of the weaker holes. It's quite compact compared to a lot of modern courses, so easy to walk. I like it, especially if you are staying at the resort, because it is good value and a fair test.

Agree with Martin about Tiburon, two great courses and home of the annual Shark Shootout

The Ritz-Carlton there is fantastic too, much better than the one on the beach IMO. Some great deals to be had there at the moment too.

My crew and I played at the golf course in Washington DC until I accidentally got hold of it properly once when driving and the ball hit the winscreen of a car which was passing. All the traffic stopped and I melted away into the trees until it all went away again!

Oh yes-I was quick enough to hide so no one knew who did it! It was not a very attractive course though-just cheap!

Must have been cheap if a highway crossed a fairway, or am I missing something

Middle of March onwards the average daily high will be about 30°C, so no worries about it being cold! Might get a bit more rain in April because of thunderstorms, but both are great months to go.
