No pay rise for me this year.
No pay rise due to uncertain trading areas. Fair enough I suppose. But got a £1000 bonus, so better than a kick in the b*llocks.
Anyone else had a pay freeze yet?

I work for a transport company and we have had no payrise for the past TWO years, and in April we had our hours cut by 1/3, and as I am paid by the hour....................
We get a bonus of £1.60 per load (taxable) and now do about 2-3 loads a day.
Happy days

Luckily the union got us 3% for last year, this year and next year, so we're not too bad at the moment.
(Cue Public Sector bashing! But I would like to point out that our salaries start lower than corporate business and usually are capped. We also do not get increases much higher than 3%, whereas when I was not in public sector, I got a 30% payrise once!)

Nice bonus in March, pay rise not spectacular and this year the pension contributions go up by 1% so wont see much difference whatever we get, still gone on a callout rota so thats an extra few grand a year, so cant complain, still never see any of it and manage to go overdrawn every bloody month, thats having kids for you !

Go on strike then, Chris, like the postal union has just voted to do on a national basis.
Yes, that'll help things and really show management who's the boss.
Post your Christmas cards early, while you still can

Not had a payrise in the last 3 years and not getting one any time soon, No bonuses and they want to give us a 5% pay cut. Plus they reclassified my job group so I am above the mid point inthe group so not eligable for a payrise even if there was a chance of getting one. Plus they are laying off people!!!!

No pay rise for me this year (April) due to projects being cancelled due to the reccession, ut did get a Summer Bonus (Won a decent sized contract), and should get a Christmas bonus too.
While last year I did get a pay rise, no summer Bonus, but did get a Christmas one.
Before that it was always Pay rise with 2 Bonuses.

I've lost about 15% this year compared to last.
But by being careful before the credit crunch means that little has changed with regard buying toys and family holidays. However, Next year were cutting back to 1 weeks skiing, 2 weeks in france in the summer, and Orlando for October half term.
