Going cold turkey
In a bid to save money today i did the unthinkable, I've canceled by Broadband and Sky Multi-room!
How long do you think i'll last before having a bath with the toaster?

I spend far too much time on here anyway, getting rid of it can only be a good thing as i look like a pasty face *******. £17 a month for half a meg just doesn't represent good value!

I did away with sky many moons ago, total waste of money as far we were concerned.
Not really a lover of wasting my life sat in front the box watching the countless repeats being aired.
But broadband, oh no. Couldn't live a week without it

Cutting my broadband would be like turning off my life support. Use it for almost everything i buy (apart from clothes) and use it for finding new music (DJ )
Sky....I'm starting to think virgin media would be a lot better programme wise?

I've just ditched my Virgin Media as things we're spiralling out of my control. ditched the phone, tv, broadband and mobile. now just gonna have a freeview box, and get my broadband with the Post Office and have a payg mobile phone.

Considering I only ever seem to watch the same sort of programs (CSI, NCIS, Without a Trace etc), it would probably be cheaper to cancel Virgin+ and buy the box sets for those series. At least I wouldn't have to endure the poxy adverts then.
Cutting off broadband would be crippling. So much ****, so little time...

I'm junking multiroom at the start of November when I'm out of contract. I was told by the engineer that I could get multiroom Lite as our transmitter was the first to go off. That would have been £5 per month and I would have paid the installation and had another box for my daughter.
As it is we hardly use the box in the bedroom and we just bought a TV with freeview for our daughter. For them pi55ing me about I'm dropping the multiroom box and unless they offer me something too good to pass up at the very least I might drop HD downstairs too.
HD is nice but really only comes into its own with movies and we don't get movies or sport.
I pay £5 broadband with Orange and no DL limits but am on contract phone which is lowest rate with orange.
