Cloudy with a chance of meatballs
Went to see this with my son yesterday and I would say neither of us were totally convinced. It is getting great reviews (for a non-PIXAR) animation.
I felt the premise was spread very thin and it just wasn't that funny. The reviews go on and on about the huge number of gags and this being a laugh out loud film.
Example sight gag - the entrance to his tree house is an old Portaloo and the brand name is Porta-Dump.
I split my sides...
...not.
Is it just me that has missed the point of this film?
