Ive had a cough / full blown chest infection since Friday. My son caught it from his cousin, I caught it from him. Been coughing up lots of green, cant sleep, headaches, sweats, a truely awful thing to have. I dont like pills, or medicines so am fighting it natures way, aka diet pepsi, coffee's. :-)

Do I still go to work ? Hell yeah :-) I'm a contractor, and Im not missing out a day's whack over a cold ! I dont usually get colds but since having children amazing how quick things get spread around.

Ive noticed a few permies here at work have a cold, well a slight little churp of a thing, and boy dont they go on. One woman sneezed and took the rest of the day and the next one off on `sick`. Typical.

Anyone else currently ill ?? If so, state your ailment :-)

Yep had it for 3 weeks now. Worse at night and first thing in the morning with the solid technocolour phlegm

Her oldest son brought the cold into our house and I caught off him last week, synosis (sp ?? - those things in your nose / head) were blocked and then it moved into my throat, no real sneezes but just felt bunged up and my run was running, my nose dried up but was still full of snatters and phlem. I'm still not feeling 100% and have some residual stuff in my nose & throat. Worst of all is now herself has it and due to a weakened immume system she now has pneumonia and is on anti-biotics to get rid of it.

Wow, sounds nasty. Soon spreads around a family. Its horrible seeing your son coughing, as he's only 7 months and cant blow his nose.

my youngest daughter has chicken pox (it was going round the nursery so only a matter of time before she caught it) and I have totally lost my voice - other than that, fine thanks!
