Default Coldplay et al......

Daughter and a couple of pals went to Wembley on Friday for a Coldplay gig. Also featuring Girls Aloud and Jay Z (??).

She thought it was FANTASTIC

Anyone else go? I know Coldplay aren't everyone's cup of tea

White Lies were very good, shame it was only a thirty minute set.

I hate Girls Aloud, but it was made worse as the cameraman kept focusing on the ginger one, and thanks to the big screens you could see they were miming the backing vocals!! It's 50 minutes of my life that I want back!

Jay-Z was excellent and I was worried that he would out do Coldplay!

Coldplay were fantastic and in my opinion it was one of the best concerts I've been to!!

Someone will be along in a minute to tell us how stupid we are for liking Coldplay and that they would rather stick pins in their eyes than watch a band like that etc. etc.

Until then let's enjoy a pro-Coldplay thread.

I've had pins in my eyes and it was more enjoyable than listening to Coldplay

Actually, even though I don't like Coldplay I do like what they did with this concert. Too much music snobbery and I think they did a really good job on this occasion

I've seen Coldplay live three times now - always been great. Last time was in Liverpool last December and we got lucky with tickets on the 5th row from the front
