Default Blu ray DVD's

Guys,

Where's the best place to get blu ray movies from for a good deal.
Bundles etc

Recently installed my new home cinema system and wish to get a few decent titles

Was planning on getting Star Trek 11, Gladiator and Transformers 2

Any others you care to recommend

shaun,

I used to use Play.com for my DVDs. if i wanted a region 1 dvds it was dvdsoon or ezyDVD in Oz. this was ok for ordinary dvds as my player was a chipped multiregion player. dunno about Blu-ray now. haven't even thought about making my blu-ray region free.

I used to use
http://www.movietyme.com/catalog/

Haven't bought anything in about 6months but they were always very well priced on HD-DVD's

Cheers,

Movietyme are a bit more expensive than the other players.

Tesco's seems to be coming out tops on price

However there's not much in it.

For example Dirt2 for PS3 and Gladiator, Transformers 2 & Star trek on blue ray
Tesco's are £4 cheaper than the likes of amazon/play etc

DVDSoon went belly up, upsetting a lot of people with cancelled orders and hassle getting refunds. I used them a lot prior to this. They are still trading, but no-one trusts them and their prices and service is not what it was.

Some BluRay players can be chipped, but depending on make what is achievable varies. Some can be A-B-C BluRay, some 1-6 DVD, and others can do both. I believe that one of the best solutions is to buy a US player which is opened to all regions anyway although there'll be no warranty
