Is he properly running them or is it a play on words ( eating 51 marathon bars ) or he's driving it ?? I cant imagine this man running.

BBC - BBC Three Programmes - Eddie Iz Running

I thought it was at first a joke, but after watching him, it is an amazing feat of endurance, especially for a guy who likes to wear high heels and isnt the most fit guy in the world. Fair play to him. He has always been one of my favourite comedians and this just makes him a true superstar

Fair play to him. Im well impressed. I wasnt a fan of his comedy, but I liked him in that American series where he played a pikey con artist. He starred with Mini Driver. That was a good series.

Fantastic effort. Trouble is, he'll need to keep running this week otherwise he'll totally seize up!

I thought it was a joke too. Apparently he only started training the month before.

I bet David Walliams isn't smiling.

Very impressive performance.

He will look like a drink of water dressed up when he is finished!

Why? They both achieved what they set out to do and I think they've both done something incredibly impressive. I don't think what Eddie Izzard has done detracts in any way from David Walliams' success. Let's face it, regardless of what someone else can do, swimming the Channel is a hell of a thing to do.

Just watched this tonight, and the bloke is a legand...plain and simple. I wouldn't be able to do it let alone on will power.

Donated my money and it is truly inspiring!!
