Lots of wasps at the weekend
Anyone else notice how they've pretty much all appeared at once this summer? I guess like the rest of us, they've all been hiding from the rain. They now need to make the best of every fine day, if they're going to hit their annual minimum stinging quotas and ruin as many people's barbecues as possible.
God I hate them.
God I hate them.

Every time I hear someone say that, I feel obliged to inform them that they are wrong. As an acquaintance of mine demonstrated, moments after declaring that "if you leave them alone, they won't sting you", by getting stung on the top lip. His face swelled up rather nicely. Oh how we laughed.

Obviously didn't like what he was saying
After watching how cats/dogs/horses treat our waspy friends, I don't bother worrying about them anymore... back of the hand in the centre of their ugly mush gives them the right idea and they pi$$ off.

bloody evil things do they eat bbq food as they seem to smell it and come rushing to the scene and start annoying everyone. even worse when you have a pub meal with your wife and kids and sit outside to enjoy a couple of days sun and the bloody things just keep on going under and over the table

I parked under a tree at work yesterday only to find on my return loads of wabby's gorging on the fallen sap.
I had to reach 85mph before the last one eventually let go of my bonnet. It was quite funny watching their little antennae flattened to their backs
Not long after parking up at home there were a load more converging on my truck.
Do you think they followed me?
