Just seen a massive one wandering across the lawn!

Has markings to make you think it's a snake ....

Apparently it's an Elephant Hawk Moth Caterpillar. There are other species too, one is bright green called the Lime Hawk Moth Caterpillar, there's a Bedstraw one and a Convolvulus one but all get to about 6" long. There's loads more too, the Death Head being the most famous from Silence of the Lambs.

P.S. I just learnt all of that from Google.

The biggest caterpillar will be an immigrant that has only got in to the UK because of Labour's lax immigration policies. It will also be taking jobs from all the British caterpillars. No doubt it will be living in a free council cocoon and will be breeding at a far greater rate than the indigenous caterpillars.

They should all be shot.

Googling "caterpillar" and "muslim" comes up with some interesting results.

From this site

Neither the action taken by the mother silkworm to protect its eggs, nor the behaviour of a tiny caterpillar devoid of any awareness, education or knowledge can be explained by evolution. First of all, the ability of the mother to produce the thread it uses to secure its eggs is miraculous.
I think scientists (particularly biologists) might disagree.....

Yes. The eggs of the silkworm mother which didn't protect its eggs didn't survive.
