Yoza and Nat...
Been offered a 2001 IWC Fliegerchrono..
Boxed with all its bits..its now an old model and has been discontinued, but is mint, with steel bracelet, which is a prerequisite with me.
Just short of 4k seems to be the price for a "new" one..
What does £1600 sound like for this one ???
Its a cash deal,he wants 2k,i wanna give him £1500..
Thoughts.??

Whats the model reference number (3706-007?)? Its an attractive piece: usually I regard IWC, but I dont like them. Id have thought that £2,000 would be a very strong retail price; and that at £1,500-£1,600 youd be paying a strong market price, as opposed to getting a bargain.

A speedy Google shows that a 3741 is a Flieger quartz: the 3706 has a mechanical movement. Quartz calibres dont do anything for me, so Im biased: personally Id place its value well below that of an automatic chronograph. I believe that they only retailed new at a shade over £2,000 though.....

I was offered a watch by a black guy in an 09 black Merc in Reading services this afternoon.Only £40 , a bargain he said, retails at £350. Funnily though , he moved off rather sharply when he saw a policeman walking around the car park looking at cars. I wonder why
