Now this is dedication for you

"In 1948, Mr Paul almost died in a car crash that shattered his right arm and elbow. Afterwards, he convinced doctors to set his broken arm at a right angle in the guitar-picking and cradling position. "

I actually thought that about Chuck Berry too, until I bumped into him in Chicago Airport where he was very much alive oops

94? I'd settle for that. Bet he's been through some fanny too.

Lets have a list of Les Paul players as a tribute, I'll start things off with two of my personal favourites:

Yep, legendary man. RIP, Les.

Not sad, because he had a legendary life, made himself virtually immortal and wasn't taken prematurely.

I saw him in NYC at the Iridium Jazz Club in Times Square last sumer on his 93rd birthday. He spent the entire gig flirting with his very hot female bass player.
Rather than thinking about his guitar playing all I remember thinking was "I hope I'm that horny if I get to that age!"

It's amazing the influence Les had on music, and not just guitar music, he was hugely innovative in lots of techniques not utterly commonplace in the recording studio.

RIP a legend

Most of the top guitarists play a variety of makes of guitar because of the different sound each one makes
