Dan, if you don't give up, I shall start calling you hectic again
LOL on serious note, I saw a very stylish watch at Diesel store over Christmas. It was only £400. But I didn't buy it as I had to get my scooby serviced. If you have brains, and if you don't live with your parents, I suggest you and her go to Turkey, and get a fake Gucci for a tenner. No one will know the diffrence.

I was only joking, but was still giving my opinion on not spending stupid money on a watch. On factual serious note, it is not a bad thing to buy something fantastic for your partner, ok? It's a great thing, actually IMHO

Suppose it depends on her taste really.
We're not rolling in it, so if I ever need or ask for a watch as a pressy, I'm happy with something that is my type of style (at the time), not bothered about the make of it.
The last watch I was bought was a Fossil one (bought by Dad). He got it for me, to go with some jewellery he'd bought me for Christmas, so I could wear it all together. It's a nice watch imo, think it was less than £100. One I got before, was a DKNY one, again, not expensive, but it's a nice enough watch.
If you know her style, then get her something she'd like the look of, you can always hunt for one that is expensive/branded if that is important, but no matter what, pick her something up that will be her taste, over how much it costs.

Its not a money thing Lisa.. Ive never really been one for flashing the cash or been a tight git.. if Its worth the money and I have it at the time then why not.. but seeing as its a special occasion and I know how she misses her Gucci one , me being me , I thought I would see about getting her another of a similar ilk..

Maybe look at some Gucci ones and see if you can find one similar to what she had. Good luck though, as it's always sods law designs change that much or they stop making a certain style altogether.

I got my wife a rolex oyster for our wedding day, it cost about 1800 and she loves it, she wears it every day and its not too flashy. we have just had it serviced as its now 4 years old and its as good as new, the price of these watches has now gone up when we looked in the shop so it is actually a good investment as well.

Go for a watch that is manufactured by a watch making company, not some chavved up bling from a fashion house! I love this one personally and tried to get the old man to buy me a refurbed second hand one, but we've got bikes to buy so he didn't:
Another variation:
Lovely watches in my opinion The diamond one is within budget, the second hand one was up for £750.

Get her a big Brietling Bentley watch.
Or a TW Steel watch. The bigger the better.
When I bought my Brietling Navitimer World, the assistant said more women are buying the bigger watches, rather than the men.

I bought an ex a Vintage Longines once. It was rather special, same model that audrey herself had once had in fact and as such rare as rocking horse doodoo. I want it back now. I've never been able to find another one.The fecking bitch broke it in under a week as well
Longines movements are all now made by Eta, same as all the other fashion brands
