Using SN whilst most of you are asleep I have noticed that every night you get posts along the lines of "Nice post thanks for sharing" from a newb, 5 or 6 posts all similar comments, come the morning they've vanished.

Last night it was zero six, tonight its ayesha

Just curious to know what the point is, they're not Banned members coming in to stir it up and it's not the "use this link to copy dvds" which is also common place at night.

Basically put: Spammers, judging by the amount of forums suffering teh same issue its Likely an automated script to put some words that are loosely relevent to the thread.

They all have hidden images linking to some website (Free Anime Episodes), which I presume is harvesting valid IP addresses, or the image is left blank and will be changed at the host with an advert for something, so it gets past any initial scrunity.

Click quote on them and you'll see the link to the "invisible" image

Feel free to RTM their posts using the icon.

its a bit more subtle then "get your viagra here...." type spamming
