Exclamation M6 Madness!

I've recently made a couple of return trips up the M6 and have been staggered to see people parked up on road bridges just to watch the traffic go by! Some of them seem to be settled down for the day with their folding chairs and thermos flasks! What's wrong with these people? Haven't they got anything better to do with their lives? It seems to be at its worst on the stretch between Warrington and Preston. Very odd local behaviour indeed.

Traffic survey.

I'm amazed you haven't seen this before. Been commonplace for the 20 years I've been driving.

It's the ones who spend their times waiting for airplanes to land that get me!

At Lakenheath they've had to make a "viewing area" away from the A1065 and to make it impossible to stop on the main road. It's not like it's a busy base as in flights every few minutes...

It's the odd C17 & C5 that fly over my house all the time after they've taken off! Why sit out at the base when you can watch them at a few hundred feet from the comfort of your garden?

What, pensioner couples with cameras and young families on push-bikes? Seems more "League of Gentlemen" to me than "Man from the Ministry".

Now whereabouts exactly is Royston Vasey?......

Its the ones having a full picnic with the chairs and table etc on the grass by the side of a main road that make me smile!
