I love Subarus
I know this is Non-Subaru Related however I thought I could liven things up a bit in here by posting to say that I really like Subarus even though I don't own one anymore sadly. I have owned two and one still races at Ten of the Best, although I shouldn't really mention that is the team is organised by another, smaller, Subaru BBS. I won't mention which one, suffice to say it is 555 in HEX for your IT lovers.
Anyway, let's make this a poll to see who loves Subarus in Non-Subaru Related.

Do you think I should have created a poll to break the question down into which type of Subaru?
I have to say my Sti V from 1999 was the car that really did it for me. The MY06 Spec C was a 'better' car, but not a more loveable car.
The Sti V genuinely contained my blood, sweat and tears.

On my 3rd Scoob, all been silver, Classic, Bug and now the hatch. 11 years of ownership, but starting to look elsewhere, so I wouldn't say I love them anymore, just good friends, back in the day when people stopped you and asked what you were driving it felt a bit special nowadays the marque is a bit tarnished.
Since moving to Oz I want a V8 so this could well be my last sccob, although I may go on the V8 route and get an old classic for the weekend .
I would like one of these + a proper exhaust system time for a muscle car (how very American )

I owned a 2001 WRX, I liked it, but sold it after 18months.
I dont drive/or want a Subaru anymore.
Unless they change the clock to an anologue Breitling then I may re-consider.

I thought my original STi was an outstanding car. Very well built-did not even use self tapping screws!
The performance was very good after a few add ons and tweaks and the handling was perfectly neutral once the bump steer was sorted and the rear roll bar links swapped for solid ones.
I was sorry have to sell it but find now that the traffic is so bad though it would have been difficult to enjoy it so much. The Mini Cooper is a great deal cheaper to run too.
