Every balance transfer incurs a fee ..... it's why I never do it.

Lol so you didnt read that before you signed up? Youll do well to find anyone who doesnt charge a transfer fee these days, at least on 0%.

I thought every company did that.

Once the balance is transferred, it may be 0% for however long, but I thought they all charged for the initial transfer.

there we go then, pay £27 to save many £££££££££'s ..... a successful transaction I would suggest and Tesco should be applauded for it

pmsl fair doos, no doubt there wqill be some clause somewere on what i spend in the next 12 months, funny though as i buy salvage cars online with credit card, not unusual for me to spend a few grand in a month and pay it back at end of the month

nothings set in stone -- you can negotiate these things down if you have good credit rating

remember the money is costing the banks next to nothing

If you'd used a decent comparison site then you could've got a better deal. For example, Virgin are doing 16 months 0%, slightly higher transfer fee but a slightly lower interest rate after the (much longer) interest free period ends. You do know that the Tesco 0% is only for 6 months, don't you?
