Why do people collect stamps or anything else for that matter? Simply a subject the bloke has an interest in and a collection that will increase in value over time. If I had the money i'd collect motorbikes and cars even though I could never drive them all regularly.

Good for him, whatever cranks your handle.
I see it as a bit of a waste because he doesnt wear them all.
Wear as I do, each and everyone of them gets a run out.
I also dont count Seikos/Casios/Poljots/citizens/secondas/and a couple of others in my watch total.
But Im still a country mile away from him...

NO ulyssee nardin I bet he would swap the lot for a Ghengis Kahn or circus minute repeater. I did not see any minute repeaters there. for me that is one of the greatest complications along with the perpetual calender.
This is my favourite watch ever though some will probably hate it.
