Haven't seen the video but if you mean a big fan in the floor with a cushioned cylindrical wall its fantastic! Went on the one in Vegas 2 years ago, by the end of the session I could fly without the instuctors help 
. It hurts your knackers after a while though - being 1st point of contact bobbling about in the airstream 
This was a purpose built structure though, not portable but this was a while back - maybe they are available now?
