Tidy up that desktop Swiss, you're letting us Mac folk down. The Dock, Spotlight, Sidebar, Spaces and Stacks should give you enough alternatives to just dropping your undies on the bedroom floor.

Was running like a dream when I left the house at 9am. Just got back and it's as slow as I can ever remember it being.

Edit to add it took 28 secs to " Post Quick Reply " the above. Then 18 secs to edit it to add this, and no doubt another 28 secs to save it.

not just me then, ridiculously slow just to load a page in Firexox, Opera and I even tried IE8 (but washed my hands afterwards).

Shockingly slow and it's been bad for a while for me, fine everywhere else, streaming HD movies is fine but Sn is now 20 to 45 seconds for a page.
