A famous person has died

I remember the day Diana died, I was playing golf really early as the story was breaking and it was solid "news" the whole day, I phoned my mate about 8 o'clock and in a frantic tone - "John, John, have you seen the latest? She's still dead!"
Hopefully Jacko won't go beyond a weekend of tragedy, tributes, conspiracy theories and rehashing.
You could say tragic life, tragic death, but there's no more "news" in it unless they find the chimp did it. Leave the poor bloke and his family to it.

When Diana died we watched the news for a while until they announced they were speaking live on the phone to Dannii Minogue to get her feelings and reactions to the tragic news The TV went off and we went to the cinema. Can't remember what we saw, but there was only us in there. On the day of Diana's funeral, I got up, filled the car with fuel and enjoyed the quietest roads since the 1920's
