Default Good planning or just obsessive?

OK I might have mentioned just a few times that im off to Florida on Saturday...
I am pleased to say I have confirmed the use of the house. Normal you might think, gonna need somewhere to live etc...

However I have just booked the house for 2010

To me its good planning, a trip to Florida would not be the same using a different house as a base, and I love this one.
However almost 13 months before we go, might be a bit extreme, especially seeing as its not any sort of special occasion.

Well done, Snazy!

The likes of me don't plan that much ahead. Closer it is to the "Spur of the moment", more fun it proves to be for me. too forward planning kinda deminishes my adrenaline rush

However, bleddy good on you. You will have a gala time

Hi
Spoke to my Sister in FL and she agrees she's far from cheap on her rental costs. But she - ermm kind of said she doesn't want to appeal to the budget end of the market. Can't say if she's right or wrong - tarring same brush etc etc

This is the relaxing holiday of the year, we usually do a random "lets go" holiday at some point too. Just nice to know that something is all in place and taken care of.

Fair play mate, nothing wrong with that. Just seems that if she wants to rent it out, lowering the price might help.
The place we rent is always in good condition, in a nice location, and has only just put the price up to £395 a week.

Americans is bad holiday to go. I have gone to year back and liked not USA and fun places such like Disney not real but not true. Much better go to other places like New Zealand. There is much fun more!

Depends what you do really.
If you are only into doing the Disney thing it would be boring yes.

There are plenty more places in the world to see, but Florida is mad when you want it to be, and relaxing when you want to chill.

Suits us fine

All depends where you go really, who you go with, and what you want from your holiday.

Like I say, Florida to us is a chill out holiday. No language barriers, no beggers, sellers, etc. Just plain fun etc.

We usually go somewhere else too, somewhere different and more "exciting" and adventurous.

Florida any day for me over Euro lol. For starters Florida has less French people!

If you can go for something more basic you can always try the place we use. £395 a week when we are going (2010 prices)
Florida Davenport Villa

Not quite as plush but still very nice Oh and only a 3 bedroom

Oh and more chance of seeing the sun... And many more things to do, IMO anyway.
And at the end of the day probably not too far off on price either.
Lots more parks to go to too

You can rent a townhouse cheaper than a villa/single family home... but my preference is a stand alone/ SFH. With pool etc.
Price wise there is not much in it.

I have to say the place we rent is cheap compared to the rest year on year. But if it was rubbish we would not go back.

That make small common sense. I like fun. I like to go with family and I like a good time! So I still do little like Americans as a holiday. Go to Americans is like go to a mad place which filled with stupid persons.

I've done DLP, DisneyLand and DisneyWorld. DLP doesn't compare to the two in the States.

PM me if you want the site I use for villas. Never had a problem with any of them. Really decent owners, UK based, most of which use them themselves.

UK owners is always a bonus, being able to speak to them any time about it.
Got to admit the first year I was weary, sending someone my money and expecting to get there on the day and find someone living there lol.

We rent directly from our house owner now, cuts out the middle man, and nice to deal with the owner from the off.

They usually follow us out there just after our trip.

Given the prices I SO wanna buy a place though
