Default Holiday recommendations

Now that I've got two small kids choosing a holiday has become more difficult. They are preschool so we are planning to go in September
I need

1)Preferrably no further than 5 hrs flying

2)Hot. At least 25 degs C

3) Must have a beach attached to the hotel. Beach must be soft sand (so I'm not worried about the kids falling on shingle). The water must be nice and clear.

4) Hotel should be able to organise some kind of childcare (so wife and I can have a little rest aswell)

5) Food should be good.

6) Would prefer somewhere that a national carrier flies rather than a charter, but not essential.

I'm after recommendations for actual hotels/areas rather than just countries.

Thanks

That's a tough brief!

If you can't find anything else overseas, check this out - it has it's own beach and is very very nicely decked out:

Hotel in Cornwall - Luxury Cornish Beachside Accommodation - Driftwood

Food is outstanding, they look after kids (I think), it is often 25 degrees in September (and the sea is at it's warmest then), you can drive there and not spend two days in/getting to airports, etc.

Will have a think of places overseas - Llafranc is very special but no hotels directly on the beach.

A lot of people are choosing Cornwall this year it seems - spending more on accommodation, less on getting there and back. We did recently and loved it.

Thanks Mattee, but it has to be abroad, sunshine has to be guaranteed.

Never done a cruise, not sure if I'm ready for one yet!

For our honeymoon we went here

Neilson Holidays Halkidiki, Greece Offers Available

Main reason was because our daughter was coming (2 years old at the time) and childcare was top priority. All the nursery / childcare staff have UK qualifcations and experience.

Loads to do if you are active - windsurfing, tennis etc - I learnt to sail and got a UK recognised certificate etc.

Anyway this particular resort ticks most of the boxes you listed, bar the sand. But they have other locations which may be more suitable? All I can say is that the childcare was 1st class, as was the resort, if a little remote.
