Also have a look at the HTC Magic (Vodafone only I believe). Had mine for a week or so and love it dearly. Does everything I want and more.

Definatly the Magic or Touch HD.
Do you want a hardware keyboard at all ?
Touch HD v Touch Pro 2

Touch HD v Magic

Magic is lower end really, but still very good.
Did you want Windows based or open to things like Samsung Omnia ?

tbh im not realy bothered about operating system, the one feature i did want was a qwerty keyboard, so think it'll have to be the touch pro 2.
only issue is where does contracts with them?
anyone know good places for contracts? currently o2, but not bothered if i switch tbh

Do these all receive/transmit faxes like the old Communicators?
