You'd have been buying lottery tickets all week with after missing that flight but then to go in a car crash a week later....

She missed the flight because she was late.
She died getting hit by a truck, due to the fact she was on the wrong side of the road.
Nowt wierd about that.......
Some strange posts on the comments page though, all God stuff, like he did it on purpose.....the man has to sleep you know, or maybe he was taking a No2, who knows, surely he cant look after us all the time.

S**t happens; I'm prepared to accept it as tragic coincidence. Now if every person that missed the flight of a crashed plane/train/whatever died shortly afterwards in unrelated circumstances, then I would be prepared to admit something a bit more freaky is going on. If one looks hard enough at any tragic situation its possible to find ironic twists in life, which are meerly just cruel coincidences; Like the clock in the kitchen that my Dad died in stopping at the exact hour and minute he died (must admit that did mess with my head somewhat).

It does have the ring of some sort of destiny: She missed her 'time' so Death was following her around waiting for an opportunity.
In reality, things happen and her luck just evened out.

Sorry to hear about that bad luck. It occurred to me that we don't know why the car veered across the road. Could be a number of reasons and not necessarily her or her husband's fault.
Seems most unfair to castigate her without knowing the facts behind the accident.

I can picture god now looking like Homer Simpson after this comment.
Maybe she was God's intended target on the plane, but he didn't realize she was late? Than did a 'DOH'! And had to take care of it another way.
