Nice to see that even though all the workers & creditors of GM are being screwed, that JP Morgan Chase & Citibank are getting their loans to GM back in full :

Nothing in that "article" says the Court has approved the pension/healthcare fund cash for stock swap though, which is the big issue.
Banks get paid out before trade suppliers regularly over here, because they have a priority ranking in most cases.

Nearer home we have the unedifying spectacle of Britain (i.e. Flash and his cronies!) almost ignoring Vauxhall and it's workforce, whilst letting the Germans do all the negotiating. Yeah, 'course they'll get the best deal for the Brits ...... On top of that, one of Mandleson's Russian gazillionaire mates is involved with the Canadian company supposedly buying out Vauxhall (and Opel? I forget). And no news on possible job/plant losses ...
