This was my view at 8:15 on my 4 mile cycle to work this morning...
This is the view at sunset...
Admittedly you perhaps dont get as much house for your money in Norbreck as you could in many other northern areas, but how many people would trade a slightly bigger house to have this to walk the dog on at night, or to take the kids playing at weekend?
No car, bus or taxi needed, this is the bottom of my street. Under 2 minutes walk to the views above.

Great pics!
My daily 12.5 miler is utterly stunning too - a really nice start to each day.
A couple of highlights:
Ignore the red line but it's mostly around this area:
And I very rarely see a single person on the rural bit (8 out of the 12.5 miles).

Some great views there. Id actually love to live somewhere more rural with less people but kids and businesses make it awkward. It must be excellent to live there, I envy you.
LOL. Ive actually considered changing my name back to the one I use on all other sites, Stu @ M Developments.

Even if he was doing it not cause of the sunburn, at least Stu is a reasonably big chap (meant in a complementary rather than derogatory way). I'm off to the gym in a mo and guaranteed they'll be at least one bloke who weighs no more than 9 stone puffing out 5 reps at 30kgs on the Smith's press who will then Strut around the gym like he's Lou Ferrigno.
I actually think it's quite sweet; It's nice to see people proud of themselves, even if their ego is a little larger than their physiques might warrant .....as long as they're not tossers with it, fine!
