CAREER CHANGE
Hi all, a bit of advice required here.
Currently i work on the railways, as a safety critical contractor. I set up safe systems of work and protect staff while they are carrying out various duties on the railway.
I work away and i hate it.
In the paper the other day i seen a thing on franchising, this company train and lend you all he tools to carry out minor to medium repairs to cars, i.e. scratches, chips, trolley and door dents and minor collision damage.
You are trained for three weeks and then you are provided with a van and all the equipment to perform the repairs. the company is caled smart a b c, have any of you any knowledge about his company or field?
i'm thinking of changing as i miss my family and dogs very badly and i don't know how long i can sustain being away for long periods.

I had a dentmaster type guy around to my Dads car recently, he had a scrape around the the corner/front of his bumper and a scrape/dent on the wing, gate post rash but quite bad.
The guy used to work for a large DentMaster type company, he took their training and jobs for experiance then after 12months or so went on his own.
I had to wait three weeks for the appointment as he was busy/fully booked.
He did most of his work at dealerships and that is were I spotted him.
The job was excellent and carried out on my Dads drive, £110 all in, he was there for just under 3 hours.
