Mobile Phone Triangulation
Does anybody have any idea at what position in metres a mobile phone on the Orange network can be triangulated to?

It depends entirely on how many base stations are in the area, if many, then it can be up to 100metres if not so many a couple of hundred meters.

Thanks for that. I've managed to get a rough figure of 200 metres for the area I'm looking at. 
I just need to work out if it logs where text messages are sent from now

I dont think it will log where messages/texts are made etc, however they should be able to tell what cell sites it was triangulating at any time, therefore a request for the itemised bill, will confirm that a text was made to whoever, then orange should be able to tell you what area it was from, giving you evidence
