Imo, because they are naive. I once asked my mother if she smoked one more ***, that would be the *** that gave her lung cancer, would she smoke it knowing she would have a terminal illness and die within a few months, she said NO!! but continued to smoke.
If its not being naive then its because I don't have the mental capacity to know another word for it.

- Some claim they don't care about any of the risks etc and are going to die anyway - This is not a logical reason to smoke, not least because smoking does nothing for you, if you want to take drugs go to Amsterdam and get on the Mushrooms, I can personally recommend the Hawaiians, also I know I am going to die, but I don't start sucking on my exhaust pipe.
Any smokers feel like telling me ??

I am an ex-smoker, I was an addict, still am I guess. I smoked cos I liked it, don't know why, but I did.
I wish before I'd given up I'd tried those though
