Default The humble tomato defeats modern washing technology - stain removal

Both mother and daughter somehow managed to miss their mouths and spill fresh tomato on their clothes.

I had beaten Persil tabs twice and Vanish poxy action twice as well.

what would you recommend to get the stains out???

Paper towel and vinegar if you have tried detergent and a ice cube.

Right I have a method that I reckon will get rid of the fresh tomato stain.

1) Pour petrol on fresh tomato stain
2) Set light to it
3) Job done

Betcha can't see the tomato stain now...........

One of my lot spilt beetroot juice on a white top. Went to Boots and they recommended soaking in Borax. Worked a treat

If other stuff fails, it might be worth trying (I think) stain devils. I believe they have a few different types, so you'll have to pick the one most suitable, but I have used it before to get even dirty engine oil out of the other halfs' clothes, and it worked a treat. I have used it on lesser stains with no luck, but it might be worth a try.
