Its my brothers stag do next weekend and he has picked Nottingham. I am looking for any advice on places to go or to avoid.

There are 16 of us flying down from Scotland on Friday morning and heading home on Sunday.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Erm, well depends where you want to go really... Clubs or pubs? Once in central nottingham its pretty safe and most of the places are good to go to . But obviously if you stray away from central Nottingham you may get knived/shot/raped or a combination of all 3

Curry Lounge is great for a bite to eat before you hit the booze... The best curry I have had in ages!

If you want a curry, I recommend Desi Downtown, the best curry in Nottingham, IMO.

Come down tooled up ,they're always up for a shooting or stabbing in Nottingham .You'll be made welcome in the Globe , but only if your wearing a Derby County shirt .Keep away from Bubbles Spa i hear thats wear all the coppers go

Actually, they'll be 16 cops in 'Ask' on Chapel Bar next Friday. We may actually start a little earlier than planned in The Castle though.

Anyone wearing a Derby County shirt is more than welcome to come to Nottingham, they'd save money if they only had a one way ticket as they won't be going back.

I can't remember the name of the strip club opposite Walkabout Apparently, they do extras on the top floor...

I'll try and knock up a quick map showing where all the bars are. You basically walk out of one and straight into another as there are so many.

Tantra is good for totty spotting, always lots of flesh on show and opportunities for photos with fitties. Just a bit pricey.

Dogma is cool too.

Any road highlighted in pink has loads of bars. Bubbles Spa is the blue/green cross.

Avoid the orange shaded areas unless you are bullet/knife proof

May Sum chiese buffet (eat all you want) £12 evening time, £6.95 day time.

cheesy night club go to.... OCEANA
bars = BLU, Living Room, Ha Ha etc

casino = Alea next to the May Sum

loads of places to go, if hot next weekend go down to Via Fossa (water front area)

Jury's Inn is near Hooters, also walk along Canal Street, under the Tram 'fly-over' past the carpark + Crown Court and you'll come to the waterfront area (Fellows Morton Clayton, Via Fossa, Lloyds etc etc)

then after walk up to Nottm City Centre or stay at the OCEAN club (near Via Fossa) Ocean club is dfferent to OCEANA club... Oceana is the old RITZY but has various dance floors, you can get food in there too if you want to book a table, by doing so you get free admistion to the club.
opp side of the road to thre is ANTIBO's if you want Pizza/pasta stuff

you can also take him to THE OLD TRIP to JERUSELUM pub, oldest pub in the world, its a stomes throw from via fossa, near nottm castle.


you're only a ten min walk from the water front up to the May Sum area (one side of town to the other) anyway, so everything is close to hand.

Living in scotland guns are not as common as down south but there were three murders in glasgow at the weekend and that wouldnt stop me going there for a drink.

Well we leave at six in the morning tomorrow to head to the airport.

Looking forward to a drunken weekend without any .

Unfortunately a squad of my brothers pal are rangers fan so we may have to find some where to watch the Scottish cup final on saturday.

Ilkeston is where It's at, watch out for us a week on Saturday with the stag dressed as Susan Boyle! No queing and a quality club and Kebab shop to end the night LOL
