Default A good year for reptiles? Any snake pics?

Anyone else seen a lot of reptiles this year?

In the space of a week I've had 3 slow worms and a grass snake brought in by my cats (bloody cats) All unharmed though thankfully, I do love a grass snake.

Would love to see an Adder in the wild, seen a few grass snakes in my time.

Took a couple of pics of the little grass snake before releasing it away from my cats!

Anyone got any wild snake pictures?

Had a 6 foot Western Whip snake in the French garden last year, but it was gone before I got the camera out of it's bag.

Been out here just over 4½ years and the only live snake I've seen out in the open (and that was in Darwin) is a Black Whip Snake. Not fatal if bitten, but best avoided.

Locally, there's dugites and tiger snakes. If they bit you, bad news - hospital time.

It seems to be a good year for them!
We live on the edge of a sandy heathland that disappears into a swamp at the bottom of the garden, and we get allsorts here.
In the last two weeks we've had a grasssnake , a BIG one - 6 foot at least, a couple of baby adders, slow worms galore, and some common lizards.
I haven't seen an adder round here for a few years, but they used to be very common here.
