I ask this as i lost mine yesterday but when i remembered that i had spring cleaned it a few days before i stopped panicking
The only worry used to be losing your contacts, but these days its easy to back them up. What about the 'other' stuff some of us have on out phones?
I dread to think

I'd be ok , I'd never put "personal" photos or videos on my mobile for that fact of loosing it.
My iPhone gets backed up once every few days.but saying that I forgot my one morning and was lost without it made me realise I use it way to much.

Lost at least one phone. No big deal as all my contacts get downloaded from my PC, which is the 'master' copy. Photos - camera is only 'ok'ish, like most mobiles, so there are ever only a few on it, and they get taken off every few days.
Nothing *dodgy* on my phone either .....
Doubt if I'd worry too much about it. Though the 'spare' phone is my Dad's old one, a Nokia 3310. The firmware is dated 2001 ......

If I lost mine I would feel naked lol. Send over a thousand texts a month and use up all my minutes, also use Internet all the time on it(like now for example) everything is backed up, but I do honestly feel lost without it.
And I know it sounds silly bit I've had a phone since I was about 12 lol

Wouldn't be a problem to me. I can quite happily live without mine, and all the contacts are backed up on the mac anyway.
Would cause a bit of pain not being able to watch dilbert though

I have an iPhone, as it's the best phone in the world my only 'bad' would be getting another one. After 10 attempts at the pass code it erases itself, that's peeping eye's out of the way. When I get a new one the seamless back up will restore everything, not just contacts and a few pictures, everything!!

not lost mine but damaged it, so off to be repaired.
been using an olde phone for the past few days and its crap compared to my new one, so you could say I am lost.
No calander
No notepad/word processor
No internet
No camera
No stupid ringtones
No Fring
No Twitter
but worse of all, No Emails

a few ringtones and a few texts whopee
Piccys are backed up to the pc so nothing lost there..
tbh i often leave it at home accidentally, apart from not being contactable by the other half () its no great shakes.
That said, the mobile surfing, and video playback is good, and i do miss that

Both insured and regularly backed up, so would just get the replacement the next day and hit restore.
I am getting better being without a phone these days, but still get annoyed if I forget to bring one out with me.
Re personal photos, as long as they aint of me or my bits (which I dont make a habit of taking pics of anyway) I dont care lol.
All that said, the last time I did lose a phone I was having cold sweats and panic attacks lol. Its always the same, as it is with cards.. When do you stop looking and start cancelling.... Thats the killer time period for me haha.
