The Car Show, tonight 7pm, BBC2 - what happend to it?
Set Sky + to record this tonight. Noticed at around 7.30 that the record light wasn't on. Checked the TV listings and the programme had vanished, and replaced by something else 
Anyone know what happend?

Whilst I like Dad's army why is BBC2 always shunning properly schedule programs due to time issues (especially Top gear 
)
Whilst I appreciate live events can run late, but here's an idea....pad the schedule just in case, and fill that padding with unscheduled repeats and cartoons. Which can be dropped with ease, instead of canning the proper scheduled programs.
I remember when I was a lad (oh god know, I'm middle aged already
)they used to do just that, the schedule padding would create slack time between programs; So whenever there was slack time on the schedule between live and scheduled events...they used bung on a few cartoons and repeats
