The first tooth is the big one, You get a fairy premium for the first one as thats the one the fairy uses to plant the tooth tree. After that its a couple of quid.
Tooth one could be a tenner, but it must be stressed that due to the current economic climate the fairy cannot repeat this initial payment.

I give my daughter £1.

I conned my parents when I was young, saying that I just wanted 1p to start with but it would double every tooth that came out. Thinking about it, they never did pay me the £5,000 for the last tooth ..

I thought the tooth fairy was out of a job because of the recession and some foreigner was doing it instead for less money?

£2 per tooth here.

However little one, 5, prefers lots of silver coins, rather than one big one!

Bless.

Rather than losing teeth, I'm wondering abot gaining them. At thirty, should my wisdom teeth come through by now?

£1 in our house, I used to get 10p as a kid. £1 is enough for 2 packs of HSM Stickers/Match Attax and something left for the money box

We give my son £10 under the proviso that his teeth are kept clean and in tip top condition.....

The Dentist works for the tooth fairy and reports back his findings ...

Give her the £100 but put a tax of 99% on it and give her some sweets to help the rest fall out

My younger son lost his 2nd tooth while we were in France. 1 Euro kept him happy. However with the weakness of the pound this is not a viable option. It would be advantageous to lose teeth at home. My wife leaves them notes, written in tiny handwriting to keep them on top of the teeth cleaning and to let them know that they are being watched.(This should accustom them in case there is a Labour government in power when they are unfortunate enough to be old enough to care..)

Time to cough up, the first one fell out this morning .

I think I will take Tim's advice, going for the big payment now on the basis the fairies need it for the tooth tree and then smaller payment for the rest.

I'm 35, and dumb as it sounds I din't know if I have mine. If I have they snook through without trouble. Just as well as I'm terrified of dentists.
my little 'ins 5, and just loosing her second, which is a real surprise as she didn't get them till about 2.
