New Dog
Ok, the J4CKO clan are off to pick up **Hopefully** a new dog tomorrow, just over a year since we had Molly put to sleep after 15 years, we had a brief spell with a Border Collie who just didn't settle in a few months back so this time its a pup, half Jack Russell and half Poodle (Jack-a-poo, not to be confused with a J4CK-O-POO which you don't want in your lap), its a bit like getting a Pizza from Dominos 50/50, I wanted a Jack Russell and she wanted something a bit ladyfied.
Dont know much about it but he is 11 weeks old and all being well we should have him home by Saturday night, he needs a name though, so any suggestions are gratefully received, current thinking is
Gomez
Ernie
Clyde
Floyd
Beavis

Some say.....
He has the ability to lick his own nether-regions
And that he has fully........ 16 toes
All we know is...
He's called 'The Stig'
He's a Staff x Lab crossbreed, in case anyone's wondering

Inconveniently, one of the kids is already an "Alfie", well Alfred anyway.
Photos on the way....
We got there, the Jackapoo had gone last night, all that was left was a Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle Cross (busy Poodle !), it was a farm, one of those with lots going on and this little fella was all on his own in a stable, it was clean and he was well fed but I didnt think it was the Dog for us so I said so and we alked away, the kids and wife were dissapointed but seemed prepared to go with my decision, however I crumbled, I couldn't think of him all on his own so having said earlier to the lady he wasn't the one for us I dint want to leave him there, so I went back and made a cheeky offer and got him.
He is 11 weeks old, and pretty small, we saw the mum who looked like a Jack Russell to me but I was assured was a big Yorkie, didnt see dad (probably having a lie down), saw numerous other dogs, bit of a pup farm I suppose.
We brought him home and he was very subdued, I dont think he has seen grass before, just the sawdust in his stable, but after a kip he perked up and was trotting up and down the garden sniffing everything and started chasing the kids, I was initially concerned about him being a bit pathetic really but he seems to be enjoying his new surroundings and I get the impression he thinks he may have landed on his feet after the farm.
Ok, he Isnt a "man" dog but he is very cute and a dog is a dog, Though I think we may end up with a bigger one as well but for now, I am smitten.

It would probably spoil your mental image
Anyway "Gaybo" is doing well, hasnt done any toilet type activities inside which is amazing for an 11 week old pup raised in a stable, might be beginners luck but he waited until seven, made a racket, I put him outside and he parked his breakfast, three poops so far, all on grass.
He came in covered in tree sap so that had to be removed, butter is the best thing for it, so now I smell like a Pine sandwich, he appreciated it but I didn't really want him eating loads of butter as I think it could have caused him to break his clean sheet so far.
Ok, he isnt a man dog, but I don;t really need a big scary dog to back me up, in fact it is possible that a small dog would make me look bigger, I am quite secure in my sexuality so I am quite happy mincing along with a lap dog and driving a Fiat 500, Ducky

He looks a bundle of mischief to me. Lovely little chap. I think Rambo is a great name anyway.
He will be lively enough once he has got settled. It will all be a bit strange for a while. I bet he will keep you busy for certain.

Scoobychick, i dont want to get you all of a quiver but we went on an outward bound week at college years ago, and j4cko got the nickname "rambo"
nice dog mate, looks very playful,
big dogs = small tallywacker's as far as im concerned.
