Corkscrews anybody?
My trusty corkscrew has just given up the ghost. It's a lovely brushed aluminium lever arm type, but will now only insert the screw into the cork when the lever is lowered and not subsequently lever the cork out of the bottle when the lever is raised.
Who's got any suggestions for a replacement or repair? It will get a lot of use so needs to be quick and easy to use and long-lasting!

I've a freebie one that clamps either side of the bottle neck then levers the worm into the cork and when you pull back out it pops.
I was looking to buy a fancy one but as most wines are twist caps there's not much point.
Still, it'll be interesting to see what others have

It's what every French wine waiter I've ever come across uses, plus they give them away free in some decent wine places, I have two freebies, one labelled Mercier, (Champagne), one Janneau, (Cognac).
Pocketable, my wife has one in her handbag, should we decide to drink a bottle while we're away from home.
PLUS they take beer bottle caps off too.

Here's some of the bottle opening implements etc I found in the Kitchen drawers, and in true SN fashion mr I Surrender and the cork with the metal face have the loaf on their heads!
