Well, it's one of life's few remaining pleasures isn't it?

(and no I don't mean Razzle!)

Not aware of ladies doing it though.

Sometimes I have a read of scoobynet from my phone or read a book (not a whole one) if I'm laying some proper cable

Dunno, is it only men that do this? I always thought it was.

They're all too busy flicking their bean to read on the bog! Also it's a known fact that a womans mind can't cope with doing two things at once.

I thought it was the law for men to read on the bog.

I have several Times/Telegraph cryptic crossword books for emergencies where I run out of reading material.

I find the bog seat a bit uncomfortable after a while though and eventually get pins and needles in my legs. Maybe it's just my fat **** or perhaps I need to invest in a better toilet seat

I like the idea of having a bit of quality time like that though

Why do you think, in this era of Autotrader.co.uk that the paper copy is still produced, it is still the ultimate gentlemans toilet time reading, in fact I think they should allude to this in their ads.

Trouble is with reading, if you are not a constipated type its all done and dusted with 0.0001 seconds of sitting down so a good read will see it either crusting onto your hoop or you wiping and then sat their with no justification, best to keep one in the chamber.

Glad it's not just me then. I was admiring an advert for a 1980 Porsche 924 Carrera GT in the Classifieds section of Classic Cars magazine this very morning during a particularly satisfying act of defaecation! Life really doesn't get much better than that.

I've in the past read the ingredients in a shampoo bottle just to have something to read.
