about a year ago i had a batch of contact lenses- they have fianlly just run out and my oppo. tells me i cant buy any more untill i get a check again!
how do i get round this? i could prob by a fighter jet on the net but i cant get bloody lenses!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had this problem Dec last year.
I went to Dolland & aitcheson got a free eye test and
free trial period
if you join their monthly contact lense scheme
I pay £10 month for 10 pairs by D Debit
and can cancel or suspend if I have too many or order extra
if I need.
You also get free eye care whilst your in the scheme including yearly checks.

Why would you not want to have another check ?
It is very important to check for signs of eye discolouration and changes in prescription. How important are your eyes to you ?
Its your call, but you could be risking the health of your eyes by not having regular checks.

if i lose my eyes this week then i'll let you know and you can pat yourself on the back 
i just need some lenses quick and havent time to go get a check for a few weeks!

You can buy them online, well as long as you know your prescription.
