depends how much?

The stuff you put in a cat litter tray helps get rid of the bulk.

Otherwise lots or detergent?

Sand or Salt has worked for me in the past.
Salt is better on prolonged staines / oil spots.
Leave for a day the jet wash away.

Tried engine cleaner, Gunk, or Wickes Paintbrush cleaner? I use the latter, as it's water soluble............

Then plenty of detergent and HOT water.

There is some kind of absorbent powder available which is very good at extracting spilt oil from tarmac etc. Always used to be used in commercial garages. Used to be called "Chicken ****" by those who used it. Halfords might be able to help.

Coke will do a good job yeah Ive always used Sand in the past with good results but usually only on fresh spills rather than prolonged stains...

Cement powder is supposed to be good for removing oil stains but I haven't tried it myself so can't vouch for the validity of my own comment

As for coke, I used to use it to clean the warehouse floor when I worked in a warehouse, it was better than bleach, which got me thinking what it was doing to my insides if it was doing this to a concrete floor

I used some multi purpose floor cleaner with a scrubbing brush and then gave it a good power wash.

Autoglym motorbike cleaner (Halfrauds) spray on, leave for a while then spray a little more and use a scrubbing brush, then hose off until the suds disappear

What about fairy liquid? Always worked for me. Apply, scrub and pressure wash. You'll prob end up with one clean patch tho!

Is it block/tarmac/concrete ?

I used petrol on Tarmac and the tarmac melted into little loose black stones, got a proper bollocking from Mrs for that bright Idea.

And yes, you can see oil drips on black tarmac.
