Got my stag do at the end of MAY. Was wanting accomadation near the centre IBIS,TRAVEL LODGE etc somewhere for 20 guys to sleep cheapish! anyone got some names or numbers?

OH. Alpine - I live in Huddersfield
Cheesy what the hell do you want to come to Huddersfield for
theres enough competition for the few decent girls here
another 20 blokes will kill it.
Huddersfield Hotel is absolutely naff.
George hotel better - but dear
only other cheapo ones -
Huddersfield Premier Lodge, Ainley top, Hudds Tel 0870 700 1410
Cambridge Lodge - 01484 519892 (cheapo one but OK to put your head down)
Castel Hill hotel 01484 435445
Black horse Inn 01484 713862 (about 5 miles out of centre - but nice )
I'm out tonite so I'll pre-warn the ladies.
PS - I work as a Doorman some weekends - so behave

I work at a division of what was Brook Crompton Motors - now we are called Hansen Transmissions Ltd.
We make industrial gearboxes.
and I live in Linthwaite - although just in the process of moving
to mainly get a double garage
then its buying car time.
Sold me cossie last year (wifes got FRST) - me Saab Turbo now
but either anothe cossie or Sonic blue impreza. (not had one before so dont know all models - but the STi and WRX's look awesome)

Hi DAC,
I foolishly set up my user name when i was looking for an impreza. I currently own a UK Turbo. WRX and STi were too much to insure although I did want an STi hence the stupid user name.

They should go to Leeds. I'm sorry but Huddersfield is years behind Leeds for a night out. It's got more/better clubs,bars and women. The ingredients required for any good Stag Do...........Oh and more lamp posts

DAC, As much as I love my car, the UK turbo although quicker than most car on the road is not as rapid as some of the more exotic examples. You'd be best trying to get a test drive of an STi 215bhp Vs 280bhp is a bit of a difference.

I've been twice to your town on stag do's and had a great time.
Been to Newcastle & Edinburgh and bouncers won't let you in the pubs got split up all the time. We'll be in faNCY DRESS ON THE SAT NIGHT "cartoon characters"
so say hi to big cheese!
p.s how far out of town is Cambridge lodge & Castle hill??

Cambridge lodge - about 2 minutes walk
Castle hill - about 10 minutes in a taxi
have a good night - which night club do you intend to go to
as some will also not let a group of 20 lads in together

W've been too the same one. Can't remember the name but it's near a shopping centre, it's all on one floor and it was ok. We'd been drinking since 11am ?? etc

Below are 2 numbers for karting places. I've been to the first a while ago. It's just outside Huddersfield. It was Ok but I don't have anything to compare it to as It is the only time I've been karting.
The second number is a place just up the road from where I live. About 10 mins in a taxi from Huddersfield. The place was started up a couple of years ago so is relatively new. I haven't been but a few mates have and said it was good.
