Friend wants to get a Minolta S304. This was well talked about here on Scoobynet. cant remember name of company....But was up north.

Internet Cameras Direct is cheap. Dunno if that's who had the Minolta deal. They're based in Huddersfield.

Ace Cameras is pretty good I used them before.

Also try DealTime you can get lucky with them sometimes, though they usually stick to the larger mainstream stores.

Try a search on kellkoo.co.uk

I found a company in France called Nomatica.com who did the best price on a Fuju 6800. They delivered within a week too.

It was Internet Cameras Direct, got my Minolta sitting beside me at the moment (following its first outing at the snowman rally at the weekend, it seems I'm now the weakest link rather than the camera )

Their prices are good, and service friendly and fast (the girl I spoke to owned a scooby as well (only a 1.8, but a scoob is a scoob)) ordered mine on the Monday (they were expecting stocks in later that day) and I received the camera on the Wednesday. Have used them before & recommended to others who have used them, and don't have anything bad to say about them.

BTW, thanks to Mr Pete Lewis for his advice on getting this camera

Try New York Camera, based in Germany. Excellent service and very cheap, and they speak better English than I do.
