Again, one rule for us ....
http://www.politics.co.uk/news/health/g20-exempt-from-smoking-ban-$1279775.htm
" ... Foreign dignitaries attending the G20 summit in London next month will be exempt from the smoking ban, it has been revealed.
The leniency required an amendment to the legislation enforcing the ban.
Certain smoking rooms will now be allowed in the Excel Exhibition Centre in Docklands in east London during the summit ... ".
I don't smoke and never have, apart from a couple of non-inhaling drags when I was about 8 (!!), but still didn't support the 'ban it everywhere' solution we have now. Then this comes along and really takes the urine .....
Just shows what a self-serving, out of touch bunch of ar5eholes they are!

It is not like anybody who comes here really has to abide by the rules, as usual the UK just bends over and takes it up the a$$, it is only law FFS

Did anyone see in The Telegraph, that because he loves us, Big Brother will be recording all of our trips across the border? Its a shame that they dont record the number of bogus assylum seekers (all assulym seekers are bogus btw, unless theyre being oppressed in France/Benelux or they flew here) crossing the border. They seldom leave of course.....

The smoking ban was just a tax collecting scheme, nothing to do with health, the Gov thought they'd rake plenty in as people ignored the ban and carry on smoking in pubs etc, they even hired smoking wardens to patrol public premises FFS, however it failed big time as the British public do what they do best these days and adhered to the new law, the Gov made very little revenue, so they set about a new law, charging £50 quid to anyone dropping litter (especially cigarette ends) The little **** gangs first target here was next to the hospital where Doctors/Nurses/patients went for a ciggy where there were no bins etc! However they avoided the drunken chavs in the park dropping beer cans, bottles and christ knows what else!
Of course they'll relax a law if it suits them, they often do!

So if I walked up to the dwarf who was smoking outside Maccy D's at lunchtime and told him he should quit because it'll stunt his growth, this would be seen as not quite PC

Dont get me started on asylum....
grrr
why do these asylum seekers travel through 4 or 5 different countrys, to come here, when they could quite easily / happily stop in one of those countrys..

Can't let that go, the cases were worlds apart. the guy who got 3 years was convicted of dangerous driving which directly lead to the death of his family. The peer ran over a drunk motorist who had parked his car in lane 3 and decided to walk all over the carriageway, his death was caused by his own stupidness.
In the course of the investigation it was found that the peer had been using his phone. it was accepted that it bore no relevance to the accident but he was charged anyway as it could be proved he had commited a crime.

We dont have Brainstorming sessions at work anymore either, We have "Mind mapping" sessions.
A mind mapping session is basically when you brainstorm ideas onto a blackboard.
