well my working day has lasted all of 1hour today, went into work at 1.30 only to be told at 2.30 that we had collapsed,all 90 of us redundant. a deal to take over us had fell through and we were to stop work now.

cant believe it,just dont know what to do......

well guys and girls,first of all thanks for all your kind words. The good news is that a buyer has come in and bought the company today.( totaly unexpected) and re employed all staff as of 10am tomorrow... happy days

That was a close call, my dad was a printer until he retired and he used to predict market up and down turns based upon his work, market on the up, more advertising or goods being sold = more printing/packaging, as the orders dried up he knew to tighten his belt.
