Default Any doctors?

Basically, I feel 'spaced out' ..... if i lie down I get an awful dizziness occur, same when I stand up (i have to hold on to something quickly or land on my ***). I can simply be lieing there and roll my head slightly and i get the same dizziness throughout my whole head.

Any advice welcome......... I have called my docs and simply got an answer machine message

That was my first thought, but I have not banged my head or gone swimming or been subjected to any undue pressures

Possibly an inner ear infection mate. You don't have to catch them via swimming. Make an app with the drs asap to get it checked out, chances are some antibiotics will sort it.

Agree with the above. My Dad had it and kept falling down stairs and couldn't drive for a month.

Really?

Thats exactly what I feel sometimes. Like everythings moving but not enough to feel sick just annoying more than anything else.

I put it down to needing my eyes testing.

I get it occasioanlly, and can barely move
apparently the little semi-cicular rubes which help you balance can get blocked by debris, hence loosing your sense of balance.
I get it when I wake up - I think having rolled over too quickly

There's a move doctors can do to clear it if it doesn't go away

Likely to be this......I have it from time to time

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) - information, symptoms and treatment

I had multiple investigations and was offered an inner ear ablation but turned it down. Some people claim to be able to cure it by certain movements of the head LOL

hi shaun,

yes i am, i usually prescribe an antisickness med that goes under the top lip,
last think you want when vomiting with labyrinthitis is a tablet that'll come straight back up again.

cheers matt.
