I've got a part time job in a marine chandlers, I am certainly not seeing deflation there. Most products are bought in from either european or american suppliers trading in dollars or euros causing massive price increases.
I also recently bought a one piece motorcycle suit for £465 which has now gone upto around £600-640 because its Ixon and french.
